Geophysicist | Senior Research Fellow

Dr. Finnigan Illsley-Kemp is a Senior Research Fellow at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. His research focuses on the processes and impacts of natural hazards, particularly those from volcanoes and earthquakes, and spans from fundamental physical processes to community resilience. His research also investigates geothermal energy production in support of New Zealand’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
