What I Offer
I am a Senior Research Fellow in geophysics at Victoria University of Wellington, with extensive experience in publishing, supervising postgraduate research, and reviewing scientific work at MSc, PhD, and journal level.
I work with postgraduate students, researchers, and industry clients who need high-level, expert input on scientific writing, analysis, and research design, particularly in the final stages before submission or publication.
My approach goes beyond proofreading. I provide structured, critical feedback similar to what you would receive from a supervisor, reviewer, or examiner, helping you to:

Identify gaps in logic, methodology, or interpretation

My Process
Pre-Consultation
After your initial enquiry we will schedule a free 15 minute consultation to establish your goals and challenges. I will then produce a quote for the work.
Initial Assessment
Depending on the project scope, you will send me your research material and I will begin an initial assessment for areas of improvement.
Feedback and Discussion
We will then schedule a feedback session where I will give you my expert opinion on areas for improvement. This is also an opportunity for you to ask for more detailed feedback on specific areas.
Final Report
I will then produce a final written report with specific recommendations to make your research the best it can be. If desired this can also involve another meeting and a chance to reflect.
